At Pawnia Studio we look after the data of the people who write to us or book a call the same way we look after furry friends: with respect and responsibility. This policy explains what data we collect on pawnia.dev, what we use it for and how you can exercise your rights.
1. Who is responsible for your data
The data controller is Dog Stuff, which operates the Pawnia Studio brand. For any matter related to your data, you can write to us at hola@pawnia.dev.
2. What data we collect
- When you book a call: your name and your business name, email, WhatsApp number, type of business, what you tell us in your message, the option you choose under “What do you need?” and the date and time of the call.
- When you write to us by email or WhatsApp: the data you choose to share with us.
- Minimal technical data: your IP address is used temporarily to prevent automated bookings (spam) and is not stored with your booking. Your currency and time zone preferences are stored only in your browser (see the Cookie policy).
We do not ask for sensitive data or for data about minors.
3. What we use it for
- To schedule, confirm, remind you of and hold the discovery call.
- To contact you by email or WhatsApp about your booking and, if you are interested, send you a proposal for the Pawnia Program.
- To answer your questions and requests.
- To comply with legal obligations and protect the site against fraudulent use.
We do not sell or rent your data. We will not send you promotional newsletters without asking for your permission first.
4. Legal basis for using your data
We use your data because you give us your authorization by checking the box on the form, and to respond to your requests before a possible business relationship. You can withdraw your authorization at any time by writing to us.
5. Who we share it with
Only with providers we need to run the site and communicate with you (for example, the site hosting service and the email service), who process the data on our behalf and with security measures in place. The site is hosted on Google Cloud servers in the United States, so your data may be transferred outside your country with appropriate safeguards. We may also share it if a competent authority requires it by law.
6. How long we keep it
For as long as necessary to handle your booking or any business relationship that arises from it, and afterwards for as long as legal obligations require. If we do not stay in touch, we delete data from past bookings within a reasonable period, or sooner if you ask us to.
7. Your rights
You can access, update, correct and request deletion of your data, revoke your authorization and request proof of it, by writing to hola@pawnia.dev with the subject line “Datos personales” (Personal data). We will respond within the legal time limits.
- Colombia: rights under Law 1581 of 2012 (Ley 1581 de 2012) and Decree 1377 of 2013 (Decreto 1377 de 2013). If you are not satisfied, you may contact the Superintendencia de Industria y Comercio (Superintendence of Industry and Commerce).
- Mexico: ARCO rights (access, rectification, cancellation and opposition) under the Federal Law on the Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties (Ley Federal de Protección de Datos Personales en Posesión de los Particulares).
- Spain and the European Union: rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction and portability under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). You may file a complaint with the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos (Spanish Data Protection Agency).
8. Security
We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data, such as an encrypted connection (HTTPS) and restricted access to booking information.
9. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will publish the new version on this page with its update date.
